MS Bergensfjord is a cruise ferry owned and operated by the Norwegian ferry operator, Fjord Line and is used on their Hirtshals - Kristiansand - Stavanger - Bergen route. The ship was ordered in March 2010, launched in March 2013, and delivered to Fjord Line on 3 February 2014. Bergensfjord is the sister ship of the Stavangerfjord built in 2013. Like its sister ship, it ran exclusively on liquefied natural gas from 2013 to 2022. Due to the 2021–2023 global energy crisis increasing LNG prices to uneconomic levels, Fjord Line decided to replace the LNG-only engines with dual-fuel engines.

MS Bergensfjord was built in 2014. Vessels of this generation reflect the design conventions of their construction era: atrium layouts, public-room programming, balcony cabin ratios and propulsion systems all evolved measurably between the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s shipbuilding cycles.

Key reported specifications for MS Bergensfjord include a gross tonnage of approximately 31,678 GT, an overall length of approximately 170 metres.

Onboard programming on a vessel of MS Bergensfjord's profile typically includes multiple dining venues, a central showroom, pool deck areas, a spa and fitness facility, themed bars, and on family-oriented brands children's and teen spaces.

Itineraries assigned to MS Bergensfjord reflect the operator's seasonal deployment plan, which moves vessels between regions to follow demand and weather. Researching the ship's current and upcoming season gives the most accurate picture of where it will sail.
