Carnival Freedom
Carnival Freedom is a Conquest-class cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line. She is the 22nd operating vessel in the fleet, and the last of the Conquest-class ships. The ship was built as part of a four-ship deal with Fincantieri's Marghera shipyard and was launched in Venice, Italy on 28 April 2006. She was delivered to Carnival on 28 February 2007.
Carnival Freedom was built in 2007. Vessels of this generation reflect the design conventions of their construction era: atrium layouts, public-room programming, balcony cabin ratios and propulsion systems all evolved measurably between the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s shipbuilding cycles.
Key reported specifications for Carnival Freedom include a gross tonnage of approximately 110,000 GT, a passenger capacity in the vicinity of 2,980, an overall length of approximately 290 metres.
Onboard programming on a vessel of Carnival Freedom's profile typically includes multiple dining venues, a central showroom, pool deck areas, a spa and fitness facility, themed bars, and on family-oriented brands children's and teen spaces.
Itineraries assigned to Carnival Freedom reflect the operator's seasonal deployment plan, which moves vessels between regions to follow demand and weather. Researching the ship's current and upcoming season gives the most accurate picture of where it will sail.
